Peter’s interest in geology and geochemistry focuses specifically on the kinetics and thermodynamics of water-rock interactions in porous media in high P-T environments and has previously been involved in projects related to geological carbon storage, enhanced oil recovery and geothermal energy.

In the GNG Programme, Peter will use experimental geochemistry to investigate supercritical fluid-rock interaction.
